Design And Analysis of Flood Proofing House

Abstract

A global climatic change causes an extreme effect in the seasonal rainfall and leads to the occurrence of severe flood and hurricanes which is more common in India as a result, it destroy many of the dwelling .Hence this project describes the design and analysis of amphibious house .For that, we have chosen the area of 204sq.m in Adayar .The structure is designed and reviewed for stability and possibility of floating during flood. Drafting of the project is done using Auto CADD and for designing part, manual calculations are done with aid of IS456:2000 and finally we analyzed the design using STADD.Pro
