Brahmi: Potential molecules and its significance in cosmetic science

Abstract


Herbal cosmetics are being ever used from earlier days by women in their day today life.  Herbal cosmetics offer several obvious advantages over synthetic cosmetics, such as less side effects and significantly more nature friendly. Brahmi is one of the perennial herbs known and used very less for its cosmeticeutical purpose. Bramhi is well known as nervine tonic, but less known for cosmetic use or for wound healing property. This article basically focuses on the various types of bramhi used in cosmetics and also various formulations available in the field of cosmoceutical.
