A Review Paper on Autonomous Cars- Future of Mobility

Mr.Mukul Dongre

Abstract

Every year due to road accidents, thousands of people are killed, with vast majority of these occurring due to human error and less than 10% being caused due to vehicle defects. Such surprising findings spur the use of driver assistant systems and completely autonomous vehicles to ensure driver and passenger safety. An autonomous car is a self-driving vehicle that is competent to sense the surrounding and navigate itself without human interceding. For sovereign driving, complicated driving algorithms, including perception, localization, planning, and control are necessary. This paper includes the objectives of these vehicles and their execution advantages.
