Abstract

Optimization of costs of automation can be lowered by control of peripheral devices directly from a private computer at the places where computers are already being used for other purposes. All new-generation computers are incorporated with USB ports which can accommodate an interface providing for vital digital inputs and outputs for the control of peripherals. Even without tracing cables to the controlled device, the computer remains under control whereas wireless technology allows dislocation of the executive part of the interface. This application gives a path for an interface which enables wireless turning ‘on/off’ control of peripheral devices through USB computer port and also controls the algorithm on computer that communicates with the executive module of the interface through USB port and a wireless link.
